GMAT is a standardized aptitude test processed to analyze the candidates’ verbal, quantitative, reasoning and analytical writing skills. The GMAT exam focuses on testing the analytical and comprehensive writing skills, data analysis and reasoning skills, mathematical and data evaluation skills and reading comprehension skills. The grounds of testing are as follows :

The GMAT scores are evaluated on five different basis :

A candidate’s total GMAT score is based on a scaled accumulation of verbal and quantitative scores. The AWA and Integrated Reasoning are allotted independent scores. The scores of AWA and IR do not affect the total score.
You can take GMAT exam once in every 16 calendar days but not more than five times within a period of 12 months.
If you plan to take GMAT exam the sixth time in a period of 12 months, then your scores will be nullified and you will barred from taking the GMAT exam in future.
Average student score falls between 400 and 600 while there is no limit to the highest that you may achieve with CAE.
You can prepare well for the GMAT exam in just 9 weeks with CAE.
You can cancel the exam in the middle of it with a benefit of its score standing invalid and not counting as a fulfilled attempt.
Yes, you are eligible to retake the exam but you cannot take it more than eight times in a lifetime.
The exam cost approximately USD 250 per take. There is no penalty or fine charged for appearing more than once.

You will be revealed your unofficial (preliminary) GMAT scores immediately after you finish the exam.
