  • How often can I take the GRE?

    You can take the GRE once every 21 days, up to five times in any rolling 12-month period (365 days), across both test center and at-home formats.

  • Is the GRE accepted for MBA admissions?

    Yes, many top business schools now accept GRE scores in place of or alongside GMAT scores for MBA admissions.

  • How long are GRE scores valid?

    GRE scores are valid for five years from the test date.

  • When will I get my GRE scores?

    Unofficial Verbal and Quantitative scores are available immediately after the test. Official scores, including the Analytical Writing score, are available within 8-10 days in your ETS account.

  • Can I choose which GRE scores to send to universities?

    Yes, ETS offers the ScoreSelect® option, which allows you to send only the scores you want from your test history to schools.

  • Can I cancel or reschedule my GRE test?

    Yes, you can reschedule or cancel your test up to 4 days before your test date, but fees may apply. Rescheduling closer to the date is not allowed.

  • Is there negative marking in the GRE?

    No, there is no penalty for incorrect answers, so it’s advisable to attempt every question.
