1Information we collect

When you submit an enquiry form on Facebook or Instagram, or contact us directly, we collect:

  • Contact details — name, email address and telephone number.
  • Whether you are a parent or guardian, or the student.
  • Academic information about the student — current school grade or graduation year, current or most recent SAT or PSAT score range, target SAT score, and intended test date.
  • Your stated interest in a consultation with a CAE SAT advisor.
  • Records of our correspondence with you, including call notes, emails and appointment bookings.

If you use the CAE SAT Portal we also collect practice activity, test results and progress data generated as you use the platform.

We do not ask for, and you should not send us, government identification numbers, payment card numbers, health information, or any other sensitive personal information through these forms.

2How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and answer questions about SAT preparation and U.S. undergraduate admissions.
  • To schedule and conduct a consultation with a CAE advisor.
  • To recommend and deliver preparation programmes, including access to the CAE SAT Portal.
  • To send you information about our services where you have agreed to receive it.
  • To improve our services and understand which of our advertisements are useful.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

3Calls, texts and emails

By submitting an enquiry form and ticking the consent box, you agree that CAE may contact you by telephone, SMS and email at the number and address you provide, including by automated dialling systems, about SAT preparation and admissions services. Consent is not a condition of purchasing anything. Message and data rates may apply.

You can withdraw consent at any time — reply STOP to any text, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or write to us at the address above. We will stop marketing contact promptly, though we may still contact you about a consultation you have already booked.

4Students under 18

Our services are aimed at families planning university admission, and much of our work concerns high-school students who are minors. We ask that enquiry forms be completed by a parent or legal guardian where the student is under 18.

We do not knowingly market directly to children under 13, and our advertising is not directed at anyone under 18. Where we hold information about a student who is a minor, we use it solely to provide the counselling and preparation services requested by their parent or guardian. A parent or guardian may review, correct or request deletion of their child's information at any time by writing to cae@caend.com.

5Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate, and only as far as they need it:

  • Meta Platforms — where you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta transmits your responses to us. Meta's own handling of your data is governed by its privacy policy, not this one.
  • Our customer relationship management and email systems, used to record and follow up your enquiry.
  • Our scheduling provider, used to book consultations.
  • Professional advisers and authorities, where we are required to disclose information by law.

6Where your data is held

CAE is based in India, and information you provide is transferred to and processed in India, as well as in other countries where our service providers operate. Data protection law in these countries may differ from the law where you live. We take reasonable steps to ensure your information is protected in line with this policy wherever it is processed.

7How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond to you and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you return to us, and we keep student records for the duration of the programme and any period afterwards required for our records. Where you ask us to delete your information, we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

8Your rights

You may ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you;
  • correct information that is wrong or out of date;
  • delete your information;
  • stop sending you marketing communications.

Residents of certain U.S. states, including California, have specific rights to know what personal information is collected, to have it deleted, to correct it, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. CAE does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.

To exercise any of these rights, write to cae@caend.com. We will respond within the time allowed by applicable law, and we may need to verify your identity first.

9Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed, and the current version will always be available at this address.
